Maintenance Technician Responsibilities
- Maintains building and equipment: Performs preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on building systems, HVAC, and kitchen equipment.
- Prioritizes safety: Identifies and rectifies safety hazards, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Provides technical support: Offers technical assistance to restaurant staff as needed.
Essential Qualifications
- HVAC and refrigeration certification.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Attention to detail and safety-oriented mindset.
- Physical stamina to handle demanding work.
Technical Skills
- Extensive knowledge HVAC, Walk-in refrigerators and freezers, refrigerated prep tables, ice machines, cooking equipment, etc.
- Basic skills in plumbing & electrical
- Ability to operate and maintain equipment and tools.
Soft Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (truck, SUV or van)
- Must have own tools
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Computer literacy (Windows, Microsoft Office).
